Green Terrorism; Love the Planet, Kill the Infidels

While sitting in the Kindergarden I picked up an interesting magazine called UTNE Reader, an alternative press magazine (Think Huffington post). While flipping through I found a strange article about Green Terrorists. Thats right. The terrorists are goin' green. "Some of the most recognizable militants in the Islamic world have recently made statements linking the peace and stability with healthy ecosystems" states the Earth Island Journal, the first magazine to post the story. Last October, Hezbollah guerrilla leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said this; “The climate threat today,” he told his listeners, according to Reuters, “is among the biggest threats faced by mankind.”
Where does that leave people like me? I personally am all for going green. I changed the light bulbs in my house and changed my shower head to conserve water. Now all the climate change deniers are going to say I sympathize with Terrorists. But all I have to say is that I am truly embarrassed to say that the terrorist beat us. They were faster about catching on to the truth about global warming, faster than most of the american citizens. But we can still win in the end! If the US can get their "green" on, we can truly win.
