The DREAM Act
I have serious opinions about immigration in this country, even though most people don't always agree with me. I think that because these people have risked their lives and families to be here to have a better life, we should help them and accept them into our community. The DREAM act on the other hand, makes it extraordinarily difficult to become a citizen, and doesn't reserve any help for family members of the people involved in the program. Though it is a start in the right direction there are still lots of problems with the act, and I don't full support it.

immigration is fine and dandy with me, it's the illegal stuff. I don't care if you're illegal or not, but i do kind of care if it's over populating us, making it harder for people to get jobs and etc. If you can't afford it, don't come over till you have the cash. Harsh as it is, that's how i view it.
ReplyDeleteAnd the dream act is fine, even though i don't truly care, i think we should set things up for immigrants. Yeah it makes it harder to become a citizen but we kind of need it, because (as mentioned earlier) over population. but that's just me.
