I'm weird. I tend to hate the super hero and roll with the villain. Seriously, super villains are creative and have a good sense of humor. They are always the ones to come up with the plan that may or may not include a giant robot smashing the city to bits or robbing a bank with a huge drill? The only part I hate is when these people get caught by the good guys. Now, I don't want you to think that I am pure evil and relate with the villains of the world, I just appreciate their antics in literature and movies. I f put together in the right way the villain of any story can be complex, and all around cool. I just want to take a look at some of he well put together villains of literature and movies.
The Wicked Witch of the West-
If you just watch the movie Wizard of Oz you get a one sided view, evil and just wants a god damn pair of shoes! But if you read the book Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West you get a whole other side to this infamous witch. I won't spoil the whole book for you (I recommend you read it) but all I gotta say is she has some pretty good reasons to go bad.
Voldemort-
To be honest, I don't like Voldemort as much as some villains. He has so much depth in his story but at the end of the day he is just evil. I don't mean that I want him to show emotion, no, I just want him to have depth that I just don't get from his creepy face.
Last but not least...
Joker-
This f&*ker is crazy. Pure insanity. He doesn't care about the money or the success, he just likes to test the boundaries he can reach within humanities control level. He wants to prove that no matter how good a person is, they can be pushed to the same levels of evil he is at. He is my favorite villain and always will be. You just can't beat his tests on the human mind and what it means to be insane.
